With the most evocative title in the series, Spacewreck is my favorite of the four TTA books. As the name implies, Spacewreck narrates a series of interstellar spaceship disasters, from radiation leaks, mutated food supplies and eerie disappearance of human crews from intact spacecraft. The artwork is uniformly to a high standard, with a good number of fold-out illustration, while the remaining images are large and well-printed to appreciate the finer details.
Ah, SPACEWRECK, one of my favourite titles in the whole TTA/Galactic Encounters universes. I loved the idea of seeing these fantastic craft that in real life we’ve not even come close to building, looking like they’ve been abandoned/forgotten for decades or even for centuries.
This was my first TTA book as well, very nostalgic for me. Gave a unique perspective on the potential future of space flight and some of the mysteries and ideas presented were worthy of something you may find on Star Trek in its golden days.
Thanks for sharing Francis! SPACEWRECK wasn’t my first TTA title, but its my most memorable and, in my humble opinion, the best of the lot.
